Is Resume Creator really free?
Yes. Every template and every PDF or DOCX download is free with no watermark. There are no premium plans. The site is supported by ads on content pages, never inside the builder.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your resumes are stored in your browser using IndexedDB, so you can close the tab and carry on later on the same device and browser.
Is my data private?
Your resume stays in your browser. When you download a PDF or DOCX, the content is sent to our server only to build the file and is discarded straight after. It is never stored.
Will my resume pass applicant tracking systems?
Our templates are built and tested so ATS software reads the text in order with standard headings. No tool can promise a shortlist, but the formatting will not be what holds you back.
Can I make a UK CV or a European CV?
Yes. Use the UK CV or EU CV templates, or set the region on any template. UK mode hides photo and date of birth. EU mode adds nationality, work permit and CEFR language levels.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The builder has separate edit and preview views on small screens, and downloads work in all modern mobile browsers.
